Inter-Tibetan Schools Basketball Tournament Stands Cancelled


Executive Members of Tibetan National Sports Association in its recent meeting discussed and resolved that;

The Inter-Tibetan Senior Secondary School's Basketball tournament as planned earlier to be played in the first of June 2008, Dharamsala has now been cancelled due to the recent Uprising and Unrest in Tibet. The situation in Tibet is still in tense. The death toll of peaceful Tibetan protestors in Tibet is rising every day and the situation is highly unpredictable in coming months. Hence, the Board in consultation with others unanimously decided to call off the Inter-Tibetan Senior Secondary School's Basketball Tournament for this year.
