GCM Gold Cup 2004 was lifted by Kathmandu in a nail biting match against Est. 22. During the regurlar time both the teams scored two goals each. The golden goal time went off without any goals which ended up in penalty kicks between the two.
Kathmandu scored all the first three penalty kicks where as Est. 22 missed two and one was blocked by the opponent's keeper.
